Agents from the U.S. Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms are now investigating the theft of 100 handguns from Lynnwood Gun and Ammunition last week. A 40-year-old Lynnwood woman is suspected of stealing $76,000 from a local soccer club. The woman, whose name hasn’t been released, worked from home as the Terrace-Brier Soccer Club’s treasurer for three years. She was arrested the day after the the club’s president reported the theft to Lynnwood Police. She has been cooperating with investigators. »
More than 100 handguns were stolen from Lynnwood Gun and Ammunition sometime between late Thursday night and early Friday morning. The owner discovered the theft when he got to work around noon. The victim in Wednesday morning’s drive-by shooting on 200th Street SW remains hospitalized but has been upgraded to serious condition, according to the Everett Herald. Lynnwood Police are still searching for the suspect but so far the victims have been unable to provide a good description of the shooter. Detectives don’t believe the shooting was random. »

A student at Alderwood Middle School in Lynnwood has been expelled after he brought a gun to school. According to the Seattle Times, the student showed the gun to other students on the bus on Thursday. One of them told his parents, who notified school officials, who in turn called police. »
10:15 a.m. Update: Lynnwood Police are still searching for the suspect and the motive behind this morning’s drive-by shooting. The 26-year-old woman who was arrested claims she stabbed the 55-year-old man with forks and kitchen knives after he tried to sexually assault her. It happened in an apartment in the 3600 block of 156th Street SW, where the pair was reportedly drinking and smoking marijuana. »
