An 18-year-old man was arrested in Lynnwood today for allegedly posting a threat against Kamiak High School on Facebook. Vote on Lynnwood’s $20 car tab tax rescheduled

The Lynnwood City Council was expected to vote last night on the creation of a Transportation Benefit District, which would levy a new $20 tax on vehicle registrations within the city. However, the previous public hearing regarding a Hall Lake housing development went long. Council member Stephanie Wright told me it looks like the TBD vote will be rescheduled for May 24. »
