Is Dick’s Drive-In coming to Lynnwood? Voters will decide.

Last month we reported that Dick’s Drive-In may be opening a location in Lynnwood. But we’ll have to work for it.

Dick’s will be opening a new location somewhere. They’re holding a poll to decide where it goes.

“We are very excited to make this historic expansion after 36 years,” says Jim Spady, vice president of Dick’s Drive-Ins and son of co-founder and namesake, Dick Spady. “And we want to involve our customers and the community, asking everyone to help us find the best location for our next restaurant.”

The new location must be within 20 miles of the University of Washington. Lynnwood is roughly 12 miles away.

You can vote on the Dick’s website. Lynnwood is grouped with other cities north of Seattle including Shoreline, Mountlake Terrace, Edmonds and South Everett. As of now, south is in the lead (that encompasses West Seattle, South Seattle, Renton, Burien, SeaTac and Tukwila.)

Do we really need more bad food in lynnwood? We already have the worst selection of restaurants in the greater Seattle area. No more bad food. If we are going to get a fast food burger joint it might as well be Red Mill, the best fast food burgr joint in Seattle.
