The Lynnwood High School budget is at an all-time low and that includes money to buy paper. Students and teachers are finding new ways to get through the same curriculum using fewer handouts. Over the weekend dozens of people gathered at Lynnwood High School to play basketball for a good cause. The Hoops for Humanity event raised $1500 for Kayla Healy-Manes, a 17-year-old senior at Mill Creek’s Jackson High School who has cystic fibrosis and needs a double lung transplant.
