Edmonds CC stepping up security after Tuesday’s stabbing

Edmonds Community College is increasing security patrols around the campus after Tuesday’s stabbing of a student.
The 22-year-old male student was stabbed in the face and robbed inside a men’s restroom at Alderwood Hall. The attacker got away and has not yet been arrested. The victim was treated at Swedish Edmonds and released.

Update: The suspect’s description has changed. He’s now described as a thin, black male in his early 20s with a shaved head or very short haircut. He was wearing a black shirt and a blue and white plaid jacket.
The victim has been released from the hospital.

Student artwork on display at Lynnwood Library Gallery
