Lynnwood City Councilwoman Kimberly Cole has resigned from her position as executive assistant to Edmonds Mayor Mike Cooper.
Her attorney, James W. Spencer, released the following statement Friday morning:

Apartment fire sends one person to the hospital

A fire at an apartment complex in the 4900 block of 168th Street SW caused $160,000 in damage.
