City of Lynnwood to host open house on May 11

Screenshot (302)The City of Lynnwood will host a community open house on Wednesday, May 11 to discuss a variety of topics with residents.

This is the first time the city has hosted a large-scale open house. Previous open houses have had a focus on a single topic or project.

“We came up with the idea for a community open house because there is just so much going on in the City of Lynnwood,” city spokeswoman Julie Moore said.

The event will feature about 20 stations staffed by city staff or community partners so attendees can ask questions or learn about projects or departments in the city.

“Attendees are invited to visit whichever stations are of interest to them,” Moore said.

The event will be held at the Lynnwood Convention Center, located at 3711 196th St. SW., and will run from 5:30-7:30 p.m. Spanish and ASL interpreters will be available during the open house.
