Photos: Iconic Dick's Drive-In sign is installed

On Wednesday, crews installed the famous sign in front of the future Dick’s Drive-In on Highway 99 and 220th in Edmonds (in the Top Foods parking lot.)

Dick's VP Jim Spady stands in front of the new sign.

The 25-foot illuminated pylon sign is identical to the one outside the Dick’s in Wallingford (although this one won’t rotate because of city codes.) It was manufactured by Berry Neon Signs of Everett.

The new Edmonds Dick’s is expected to open in mid-fall, before Thanksgiving.

The restaurant lettering is also being installed.
