Participants in Lynnwood’s 2013 National Night Out event donated a large collection of diapers for Step By Step, an area non-profit organization that assists mothers and babies.

Step By Step helps transform the lives of at-risk pregnant women so that they will deliver a healthy baby, embrace positive parenting, and establish a safe home. The organization does this through home visits, mentoring and community connections, helping with transitional housing, and educating the mothers with parenting and life skills classes. Step By Step has impacted more than 6,500 high risk families in the Puget Sound area since 1997.
