Events for kids at Lynnwood Library this week

The Lynnwood Library will have events for kids on Thursday and Friday, Aug. 17-18.

On Thursday morning from 10-11 a.m., parents can attend Play to Learn Together. According to the event’s website, it’s an hour of meaningful playtime designed to nurture early math, science, literacy, movement, and social skills. Open to all families with children ages 2-6.

On Thursday afternoon from 2-3 p.m., families are invited to explore the basic physics of gravity and energy during On a Roll, as you build a marble roller coaster. For ages 5–11. Click here for more information.

Then, on Friday, The Reptile Man, Scott Petersen, is coming to the Lynnwood Library from 2-3 p.m., and he’s bringing his reptiles with him! See and learn about snakes, alligators and tortoises. For school-age children and their caregivers. Click here for more information.

The Lynnwood Library is located at 19200 44th Ave. W.
