Thousands of people attended Saturday’s Fair on 44th in Lynnwood.
The event is a public health and safety fair with demonstrations from firefighters and police officers. Fire crews demonstrated how to safely extinguish a grease fire and gave a Jaws of Life demonstration. A police motorcycle drill team and K-9 unit also gave demonstrations.
In addition, there were public safety vehicles and other large vehicles for attendees to explore.
Local businesses and community groups had booths with games and prizes. Food trucks were on-hand to serve up a hot lunch.
The fair took place on 44th Avenue West from 194th Street Southwest to 188th Street Southwest on Saturday, Sept. 9.
