Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office deputies are looking for four suspects who allegedly forced their way into a home at the 8100 block of 228th Street Southwest in Esperance Friday morning and assaulted one of two residents in the home.

The victim, a 22-year-old male, sustained a minor head injury, although how the injury was caused is unknown at this time. He was being treated at Swedish Edmonds. A woman was also in the house at the time but was not injured.

The private road where the house is located was closed down while evidence was being processed.

Witnesses reported that the four suspects arrived in the area in an older four-door maroon Jaguar XJ6 and parked at a house down the street from the incident. After the incident occurred, all four fled in the same vehicle.

Neighbors at the scene say they heard one loud bang Friday at 10 a.m., then saw a man run outside with blood on his head.

“I grabbed my kids, went into the basement and called 911,” Camille O’Bryan-Herriott said.

She lives two doors down and was in her kitchen at the time of the incident.

It was reported that shots were fired and weapons, including multiple knives and a gun, have been recovered from the scene.

A K-9 search in the area turned up negative. No descriptions of the suspects are available at this time.

The Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office is investigating. More information will be provided as it becomes available.
