House fire on 204th caused by unattended candles

A house on 204th Street Southwest in Lynnwood caught fire on Sunday afternoon, just after 4 p.m., due to unattended candles.

Lynnwood Fire and Fire District 1 responded. According to Lynnwood Fire spokeswoman Julie Moore, crews were quickly able to extinguish the fire, which was contained to the bathroom.

Residents were home at the time, but no one was hurt in the fire.
