The Lynnwood-Alderwood Manor Heritage Association (LAMHA) won a $1,716 grant from Snohomish County.
Seven projects received a total of $32,927 in funds from the county’s Economic and Cultural Development Department.
“Money is awarded from recording fees collected by the Snohomish County Auditor,” said Dave Somers, Snohomish County Executive. “The allocation of these fees are for projects that promote historic preservation or historical programs. The diversity and breadth of the projects awarded are a testament to the value Snohomish County places on local history.”
According to LAMHA President Cheri Ryan, the money will allow the association to build a shelving unit for maps so museum visitors will be able to view the maps.
