April 25
A commercial burglary was reported in the 6600 block of 196th Street Southwest. Several kegs of beer, as well as 16 cases of beer, were missing from a store there.

A shoplifter was reported from the 4600 block of 196th Street Southwest. Several items of clothing were taken, valued at $175 total. The items were recovered and the suspect was issued a citation.

A theft was reported at a restaurant in the 19400 block of Highway 99. Two suspects ate a meal there and left without paying the bill. They were captured, booked into Lynnwood Jail and issued a trespass from the restaurant. The total bill was $50.15.

April 26
A vehicle was reported stolen from the 17700 block of 66th Place West. Nothing of value was inside at the time it was stolen.

A shoplifter was reported in the 4600 block of 196th Street Southwest. A car battery, valued at $115, was stolen.

A shoplifter was reported in the 18700 block of Alderwood Mall Parkway. Several pairs of sunglasses were missing from a store there, valued at a total of $3,770.

April 27
A vehicle prowl was reported in the 17300 block of 62nd Avenue West. A designer purse, designer sunglasses, vehicle paperwork and other paperwork containing sensitive personal information were all missing. The vehicle had been left unlocked overnight.

A vehicle theft was reported near the intersection of 176th Street Southwest and Highway 99. The vehicle’s owner believes she knows who took it.

A theft was reported in the 17200 block of Highway 99. A kerosene heater was missing from a store there.

April 28
A vehicle prowl was reported in the 17600 block of 67th Place West. Nothing was taken from the vehicle and there was no damage, but the owner believes someone entered the vehicle at about 7 a.m.

A vehicle prowl was reported in the 19800 block of 68th Avenue West. The front passenger window was broken. Two school bags and three lunch bags were taken.

A vehicle prowl was reported in the 18300 block of 36th Avenue West. Two aluminum six-foot ladders were stolen, valued at $300 each.

A theft was reported in the 6300 block of 212th Street Southwest. Gasoline had been siphoned from a truck parked there.

April 29
A vehicle prowl was reported in the 6500 block of 180th Street Southwest. A Seahawks blanket was stolen.

A vehicle stolen out of Seattle was located in the 6500 block of 190th Street Southwest. A resident complained that an unknown vehicle had been parked outside for several days. The registered owner was contacted and said he’d retrieve the vehicle.

A burglary was reported in the 4600 block of 196h Street Southwest. A storage unit had been broken into and music equipment, valued at a total of $3,750, was stolen.

A vehicle prowl was reported in the 18300 block of Alderwood Mall Parkway. A phone mount, headphones and work badges were all missing.

April 30
A residential burglary was reported in the 17800 block of 39th Avenue West. The back door to the residence had been damaged. It’s unclear if anything was taken, but the owner of the residence happened to come home when the two suspects were inside, and the suspects said they were hanging out there because they thought it was abandoned.

A commercial burglary was reported in the 2000 block of 44th Avenue West. The front glass door to a business was smashed out and the $6.10 was missing from the cash register. The store’s safe, which contained most of the store’s cash, had not been broken into.

A woman was cited for leaving her five-year-old child unattended in a vehicle in the 18700 block of 33rd Avenue West. The woman told officers she was “just dropping some things off for a few minutes.”

A shoplifter was reported in the 18400 block of Alderwood Mall Parkway. A bottle of cologne was stolen and recovered. The suspect was cited.

May 1
A commercial burglary was reported in the 19900 block of 44th Avenue West. A sliding glass door to a business was broken out there. An open safe was found inside the business with rolls of coins inside and around the safe. Approximately $2,000 in cash was stolen from the safe. Video surveillance showed two men entering the store and a vehicle associated with the suspects.

A suspicious incident was reported in the 19500 block of Highway 99. A backpack was discovered on top of a vending machine outside a store there. Inside the backpack was $337.55 worth of unopened merchandise that belonged to the store. The merchandise was returned to the store.

A vehicle prowl was reported in the 7100 block of 190th Street Southwest. An air compressor and a nail gun were taken from a vehicle parked there.
