Aug. 16
A vehicle was reported stolen from the 4700 block of 194th Street Southwest.

A theft was reported in the 19600 block of Highway 99. A cell phone, on display inside a store there, was taken. It was valued at $466, and its case was valued at $104.86.

A hit-and-run was reported in the 19200 block of Alderwood Mall Parkway. A vehicle was hit in a business parking lot. Damage estimated at over $700.

Aug. 17
A vehicle was stolen from a parking lot in the 19200 block of Alderwood Mall Parkway.

A domestic dispute was reported in the 4700 block of 176th Street Southwest.

Aug. 18
An incident of malicious mischief was reported in the 5200 block of 168th Street Southwest. A window was broken at a school there. Damage estimated at $300.

A vehicle was reported stolen from the 20600 block of 44th Avenue West. Nothing of value was inside, other than a camera with no estimated value.

An incident of vandalism in progress was reported in the 19700 block of Scriber Lake Road. Three subjects were seen spray painting a wall. When officers arrived, the paint was fresh, but the subjects were gone. The three subjects were described by the witness as men in their early 20s with slicked-back hair.

A shoplifter was reported in the 18400 block of Alderwood Mall Parkway. A suspect was seen concealing items inside a store and trying to leave without paying for them. He was contacted by loss prevention and later by officers. Merchandise valued at $443.50 were recovered. The suspect was booked into the Lynnwood Jail for theft.

Aug. 19
A few days earlier, a suspicious circumstance was reported in the 6000 block of 168th Street Southwest. A vehicle was seen tangled in some fence there. The vehicle’s passenger, a, 16-year-old female, was contacted. She said she had been drinking, and a bottle of rum was found in the vehicle. The driver was issued an open container infraction. Later, on Aug. 19, a business in the 19500 block of Highway 99 reported an alcohol theft. The suspects in the theft were the driver and passenger in the earlier collision. The passenger was charged with theft.

A woman was arrested for DUI in the 16900 block of Highway 99. She was speeding and also crossed over traffic lines. The driver failed several field sobriety tests and then took a reach test, revealing a 0.137 percent blood alcohol concentration.

A theft was reported in the 20700 block of Highway 99. Batteries valued at $29.98 were stolen. The suspect was contacted by police, who found the batteries in his pants. He was cited for theft and trespassed from the store.

Graffiti was found in the 19700 block of Scriber Lake Road. Estimated damage was $1,000.

Aug. 20
A theft was reported in the 20700 block of Highway 99. A man was seen using a deodorant stick and deodorant spray in the store, then returning them to the shelves. The suspect was contacted. Toy figures were found in the suspect’s pockets. They had also been stolen. Total value of stolen merchandise was $21.80. He was arrested for theft.

A vehicle prowl was reported in the 19800 block of 68th Avenue West. A window was broken, valued at $250.

A burglary was reported in the 20100 block of Highway 99. A window was broken at an office there. It appeared as though someone had stayed there over the weekend. There were items inside the office, such as a drink bottle and a salad container. The food items had been consumed. A credit card was missing from the office. Surveillance footage was provided to officers.

A theft was reported in the 18400 block of Alderwood Mall Parkway. A suspect was seen entering a store and taking several items of merchandise into the fitting rooms. When she left the fitting rooms, the merchandise was concealed. She then left the store without paying. Estimated value of the items is $257.

Aug. 21
An incident of malicious mischief was reported in the 5200 block of 168th Street Southwest. Windows were broken at a school there.

A vehicle prowl was reported in the 3400 block of 188th Street Southwest. Two pairs of prescription glasses, valued a $300, were stolen. The vehicle had been left unlocked.

A vehicle prowl was reported in the 4400 block of 183rd Place Southwest. The vehicle had been left unlocked. Drill bits were taken.

Bicycles were reported stolen from the 6000 block of 180th Street Southwest.

Aug. 22
A vehicle prowl was reported in the 6400 block of 178th Place Southwest. A leaf blower, valued at $700, was taken.

A vehicle stolen from Lakewood was recovered in the 4800 block of 168th Street Southwest.

A vehicle prowl was reported in the 19200 block of 56th Avenue West. Items had been strewn about the vehicle, but nothing appeared to be missing.

An incident of malicious mischief was reported in the 6500 block of 196th Street Southwest. A window to a business had been broken and glass was all over the inside of the business. Damage estimated at $400.
