March 21
A vehicle prowl was reported in the 19800 block of Scriber Lake Road. A man was seen entering a vehicle there and there was damage to the steering column. The suspect was contacted and booked into the Lynnwood Jail.

A vehicle was reported stolen from the 19800 block of 50th Avenue West.

A shoplifter was reported in the 4600 block of 196th Street Southwest. Several items were taken from a store there. The suspect was contacted and arrested for theft. Merchandise valued at $280.06 were recovered.

March 22
A burglary was reported in the 20700 block of Highway 99. A bicycle was stolen.

A theft was reported in the 18400 block of Alderwood Mall Parkway. A man and woman were seen concealing merchandise inside a store and leaving without paying for it. Both were contacted and arrested.

A theft was reported in the 19400 block of Alderwood Mall Parkway. Toys valued at $150 total were stolen from a store there.

March 23
A vehicle was reported stolen from the 18300 block of 68th Avenue West.

A vehicle prowl was reported in the 6000 block of 182nd Street Southwest. No damage reported and no items were missing, but items were strewn about the vehicle. The vehicle was likely not locked.

An incident of malicious mischief was reported in the 3000 block fo 184th Street Southwest. A dumpster had been spray painted. The suspects, two teens, were located and contacted by officers. They said they didn’t know why they stole the spray paint or painted the dumpster. They ere charged with theft and malicious mischief.

A burglary was reported in the 5900 block of 202nd Street Southwest. A washing machine was broken into, but it was unclear if any change was stolen.

March 24
A man was arrested for DUI after crashing his vehicle into a pole in the 6200 block of 208th Street Southwest. He failed several field sobriety tests, but a breath test showed 0.00 percent blood alcohol concentration. He told officers he smokes marijuana. A warrant for his blood was requested.

A laptop computer was stolen from a store in the 3000 block of 184th Street Southwest.

A package was reported stolen off of a porch in the 4600 block of 191st Street Southwest. The package was valued at $156.

A vehicle was reported stolen from the 3000 block of 184th Street Southwest.

March 25
A box containing 17 DVDs was located inside a nearby building. The finder brought them to the Lynnwood police department, where they were entered into evidence for destruction.

A knife was recovered inside a building in the 3000 block of 184th Street Southwest. The knife has a spring-assisted blade and is considered a dangerous weapon under Lynnwood municipal code. It was turned in to responding officers.

An incident of malicious mischief was reported int he 19900 block of Highway 99. Windows of a business there had been shot out. Damage estimated at $4,000.

An assault was reported in the 16600 block of Highway 99 between two patrons inside a store. Surveillance video was requested. Charges pending review of the video.

March 26
A theft was reported in the 19300 block of Highway 99. A woman was seen taking hats and jewelry off of a store shelf and leaving without paying for them. The woman was contacted by officers and told them she didn’t take anything. The stolen items were found inside one of her bags. She was booked for theft.

A knife was found in the 4000 block of 198th Street Southwest. It was entered into evidence for destruction.

A vehicle prowl was reported in the 17700 block of 54th Avenue West. The contents of the glove box and center console had been strewn about the vehicle. The radio was partially removed and the ignition was severely damaged. Damages estimated at $200.

A burglary was reported in the 18200 block of 52nd Avenue West. A dryer was stolen from an apartment complex, valued at approximately $350.

March 27
A shoplifter was reported in the 19300 block of 60th Avenue West. A store employee saw a man concealing tubes of paint and leaving without paying for them. A total of 118 tubes, valued at $1,017 were stolen. An eBay account possibly related to the theft was located. The theft was captured on surveillance video.

A man inside the municipal court attempted to flee. Three officers were able to restrain him. He was put into handcuffs and booked into custody.

A wallet was reported lost in the 3000 block of 184th Street Southwest. It is unclear if the wallet was stolen or lost. Inside, it had bank cards, a driver’s license, an un-endorsed check and less than $20 cash.
