Last Saturday, May 16, members of the Master Builders Association, Professional Women in Building and volunteers built a ramp that gave 88-year-old Elsie Brons more mobility at her home in Lynnwood. Brons has had two strokes in the past three months, and she relies on a wheelchair to get in and out of her home. She was renting a ramp but could no longer afford it. The annual Rampathon event is sponsored by the Master Builders Association of King and Snohomish Counties. This year, a total of 21 families received the gift of greater mobility through the addition of new ramps during this year’s Rampathon event.
