Dozens of business owners and elected officials were on hand as the Lynnwood Chamber of Commerce hosted a grand opening party and ribbon cutting Thursday afternoon to celebrate its new office space at the historic Wickers Building in the City of Lynnwood’s Heritage Park.

Chamber Board President Peter Harvey acknowledged the work of Lynnwood Mayor Nicola Smith in arranging to provide an office space for the chamber, which has been working to grow its membership and just launched a new website.

Smith, in turn, noted that the city issued 5,000 business licenses for the 2017 calendar year and challenged the chamber to turn those businesses into chamber members.
