The Lynnwood Senior Center’s Teed Off Seniors golf group has scheduled its information and kickoff meeting from 1-2 p.m., Feb. 22 at the Lynnwood Senior Center.
The center sponsors the golfing group on alternate Thursdays throughout the spring, summer, and early fall at the Nile Golf Course. Play is best ball in scheduled foursomes; rain or shine unless thunderstorms are imminent. Green fees are collected at the course upon arrival. Players may rent pull carts, clubs, and driving carts at the course for additional cost. Participants meet at the golf course 30 minutes before tee time for all games and field days.
The meeting will discuss regular play and the season opener field day, which features golf, food and prizes. Light refreshments will be served at the meeting which is free; members and nonmembers are welcome.
