Update: Lynnwood Police arrest suspect in home invasion robbery, still seeking second suspect

Lynnwood Police were able to identify a suspect in the home invasion robbery, which occurred on March 3 at about 12:30 p.m. in the 6200 block of 202nd St SW.

Police contacted the suspect’s family and were working to arrest the suspect when he turned himself into the North Precinct of the Seattle Police Department.

The suspect, who is an 18-year-old Hispanic male, was taken into custody and was booked into the Snohomish County Jail on the charges of Robbery first degree, Residential Burglary first degree and Unlawful Imprisonment.

Lynnwood Police are asking the public’s assistance in locating a second suspect, who has been identified as: Ahmed Shire, a 21-year-old black male, approximately 5-foot-9 tall with a thin build.

Anyone knowing of the whereabouts of Shire is encouraged to call 911. Due to the nature of this crime, Lynnwood Police are advising the public not to contact Shire as he is presumed armed.
