Pets have always been welcomed at 1st Security Bank.
And now, with the campaign cry, “Pets Are People, Too!” Lynnwood Branch Manager Edy Larson is putting her branch’s support behind an effort to stock the shelves at PAWS with food and toys for pets.
The branch, located at 19002 33rd Ave. West in Lynnwood, is now engaged in a full year’s effort to assist PAWS with its mission.
“It is our pleasure to work with PAWS to help animals in need of care, keeping them safe, healthy and loved,” Larson said.
The Lynnwood bank branch will encourage its customers and pet lovers to donate a variety of pet needs, including puppy, dog, kitten and cat food, gifts for cats and dogs and numerous help care items for wildlife in need.
PAWS Event Coordinator Whitney Allen is thrilled: “PAWS is so pleased to be working with 1st Security Bank, not only because of their commitment to ‘pets are people, too,’ but also because of their strong focus on community awareness.”
In addition to the Lynnwood campaign, the branch will join the 1st Security Bank’s Overlake Branch in hosting a booth at the annual “PAWSwalk,” Sept. 7 at King County’s Marymoor Park in Redmond. That event will help more than 6,000 animals at PAWS in the coming year.
