Incumbent Loren Simmonds and newcomer Michael Moore appear to be headed for a face off for Lynnwood City Council position 4 in the Nov. 8 general election.
Early election results show Simmonds with 43 percent of the vote and Moore, owner of a parking lot striping company, with 33 percent. The third challenger, John Conley, has just under 22 percent.
For Snohomish County executive, Aaron Reardon has a 4,000 vote lead over Mike Hope.
And in the Snohomish County Council, incumbent and former Lynnwood City Councilwoman Stephanie Wright has 59 percent of the vote compared to challenger Kathy Vaughn with 40 percent.
All three elections will be decided in November.
