Police investigating attempted kidnapping on 212th

Police are trying to track down the men who attempted to kidnap a woman early Thursday morning on 212th Street SW, according to our news partners at The Seattle Times:

The 23-year-old Lynnwood woman told police said that she was walking in the 4600 block of 212th Street Southwest at 1:25 a.m. when a Saturn drove up with three men inside. One man inside the car asked if she needed a ride. When she refused he got out of the car and tried to pull her inside the vehicle, according to police.

The woman managed to fight off the man and ran home, police said.

That man is described as a Hispanic male in his 20’s with a goatee, white shirt, black pants and a silver necklace.

Anyone with information about the case is asked to call Mountlake Terrace police at 425-670-8260.
