KING 5 News is reporting that a woman is suspected of stabbing a man at an apartment in the 3600 block of 156th Street SW in unincorporated Lynnwood early Monday morning.

Police learned about the stabbing after they found the 26-year-old woman’s car blocking traffic on southbound I-5 near I-405 about 1:30 a.m. The woman told the trooper that she had been sexually assaulted by a man at her apartment and that she had stabbed him.

When officers got to the apartment they found the 55-year-old man with multiple stab wounds. Medics took him to Harborview where his condition is unknown.

The woman was taken to the hospital for an evaluation before being booked into jail.
