The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives has put up a $5,000 for information leading to an arrest and conviction of the person who stole 100 guns from Lynnwood Gun and Ammo last month.
Early on March 26, someone broke into the store at 208th Street SW and Highway 99, reportedly by tunneling through the floor. Approximately 100 handguns, mostly semi-automatics, were taken. The store did not have security cameras.
“This theft is a very serious crime and without question a top investigative priority for ATF,” said Agent Kelvin Crenshaw, head of Seattle’s ATF office. “We are asking for the public’s help in our effort to apprehend and convict those responsible for this burglary and encourage anyone with information to contact us or the Lynnwood Police Department.”
Anyone with information on the crime should contact ATF’s toll-free, 24-hour tip line at 1-800-ATF-GUNS (800-283-4867), the ATF Seattle Field Division Office at (206) 389-5800 or Detective Anne Miles with the Lynnwood Police Department at 425-670-5669 or 425-670-5600. Callers can remain anonymous.
