76th Avenue Sewer Improvement Project Open House set for March 21

The 76th Ave. Sewer Improvements Project Open House will be from 5:30-7 p.m., March 21 at the Edmonds Plaza Room (650 Main St. in Edmonds).

The cities of Lynnwood and Edmonds have joined together to complete both a water main and sewer main project. The construction Period is March to November 2013.

The project will:

Install approximately 2,700 lineal feet of new larger diameter sewer main

Replace approximately 2,000 lineal feet of aging water main

Reduce the potential for raw sewage overflows during wet weather events

Replace an aging water main to provide a reliable water supply to customers

Minimize disruption to the community
