The new LEGO store at Alderwood Mall will celebrate its grand opening this Friday through Sunday. As part of the festivities, customers can help a LEGO Master Builder construct an 8-foot-tall Yoda made entirely of LEGOs.
It will take place in the mall’s center court starting at 11 a.m. on Friday and Sunday, and 10 a.m. on Saturday.
Also, the first 300 customers who make a purchase of at least $35 each day will receive a free gift (LEGO T-shirt on Friday, LEGO set on Saturday, and mini-figure set on Sunday.)
Because of the large crowds expected, the store will implement a ticketing system to reduce wait times. Each person will get a ticket with a group number on it. Tickets will be distributed each morning beginning at 6 a.m. outside the southeast entrance.
The LEGO store is located near the children’s play area.
