AAA of Lynnwood to collect donations for Domestic Violence Services of Snohomish County

AAA of Washington’s sixth annual Soap for Hope Drive kicks off this month.

The Lynnwood office is one of three locations accepting donations of donation of toothpaste, soap or other tolietry items for Domestic Violence Services of Snohomish County.

Donations made at the following locations

  • AAA Lynnwood: 4100 Alderwood Mall Blvd., #8
  • AAA Mill Creek: 15415 Main Street, Suite 104
  • AAA Everett: SE Everett Mall Way, E-20

“There are individuals and families that really need these items, especially this time of year, and knowing that each donation directly benefits people in our own community really has a meaningful impact,” said Barbara Buquing, manager of AAA’s offices in Mill Creek and Lynnwood. “We’re overwhelmed by the continued support of Soap for Hope and look forward to another successful year.”

As a result of the generosity of AAA members, local businesses and community partners, AAA has collected and distributed nearly 377,000 toiletry items since the launch of the campaign in 2008. All donated items have been distributed to dozens of charitable organizations throughout Washington and northern Idaho.

Donations of new, full- and sample-size toiletry items such as soap, shampoo, conditioner, deodorant, toothpaste and toothbrushes will be accepted year-round at all AAA locations. For more information, visit here.
