mavs logoThe My Neighborhood News Network, providing online community news for Edmonds, Lynnwood and Mountlake Terrace, is pleased to announce that it will be providing live online video streaming of both Meadowdale and Mountlake Terrace softball games from the Regional Athletic Complex in Lacey via the Hawks Live Sports Network (HLSN) on MLTnews.com.

The Meadowdale games are being presented thanks to sponsorship from Action Jackson Plumbing.

You can see the full bracket of the WIAA 3A Softball State Championships here. Meadowdale is scheduled to play its first game at noon Friday vs. Auburn Mountainview. The link to watch the games is here.

“We sincerely appreciate Action Jackson Plumbing’s ongoing support of our livestreaming efforts during the past two years,” said My Neighborhood News Network founder and publisher Teresa Wippel. “We know that Meadowdale fans will enjoy the live video coverage, which includes an experienced crew from Mountlake Terrace High School’s broadcast program, plus play-by-play and color commentary from veteran Hawk athletic broadcasters Steve Willits and Vince DiMeiro.”

In the event that Meadowdale and Mountlake Terrace play at the same time on different fields, the Mountlake Terrace games will have priority. “However, our network is researching the possibility of expanding to two crews, so be assured that if we can cover both games, we will,” Wippel added.

In addition, the Washington State Interscholastic Activities Association has requested that the HLSN broadcast the State 3A championship softball game, regardless of who is playing. That game is scheduled for 1:30 p.m. Saturday, May 25.
