Students from Alderwood Middle and College Place Middle schools earned awards at last month’s 30th annual Washington Technology Student Association Conference.
Seventy students from five district schools competed against 500 students from 42 different schools across the state in STEM related events.
Alderwood Middle’s Peter Kim took first and second place in dragster design. Kin and Aiden Waugler finished fifth in problem solving.
College Place Middle’s Max Tan and Spencer Montanari placed fourth in technology bowl team.
The Alderwood Middle School advisor was Jack Seymour and the College Place Middle advisor was Matt Simpson.
