A student at Alderwood Middle School in Lynnwood has been expelled after he brought a gun to school.
According to the Seattle Times, the student showed the gun to other students on the bus on Thursday. One of them told his parents, who notified school officials, who in turn called police.
The boy reportedly admitted to deputies that he brought the gun to school but said no harm was intended.
The principal emergency expelled the boy and will also decide if it’s permanent. A letter went home to parents on Monday.
