Alleged sexual assault reported by Edmonds Community College student

Edmonds Community College has received a report of an alleged sexual assault that occurred on Thursday, Oct. 3.

The incident was reported to College Safety and Security on Friday, Oct. 4.

A female student reported she was approached by an unknown male on campus. He is described as being in his 20s, with dark hair and a medium to dark complexion. He inquired about the female students classes, and then stated they had a class in common.

The suspect asked if she would like to start a study group. The female student agreed to study with him and they went to a study room in the library. The suspect forced unwanted physical attention on the female student; she was eventually able to leave the room. College Safety and Security is still investigating the incident.
