The Lynnwood Recreation Center will host April Pool’s Day on Sunday, April 10 from 9:30 a.m.-noon. The event is free and open to the first 150 participants who arrive, ages 6 and up.
During the event, experts will teach boating safety awareness and CPR basics. There will also be free play time with the slides. Families can also enter the “duck race” for a chance to win a free life jacket or swim pass.
Water safety stations will be open from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. The “duck race” will take place from 10:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. After that, free recreation swim time will be open until noon.
The event is limited to the first 150 participants.
