Artist Michael Reagan of Edmonds will be talking about his Fallen Heroes Project at 2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 9 at the Lynnwood Library.
Reagan is an Edmonds artist and a Vietnam Veteran. For years, he has made portraits of soldiers who died serving their country, and sends them to families, free of charge.
He started this project after receiving a request for a portrait from a wife of a soldier killed in Iraq. It is his passion to share his portrait-drawing talents with Fallen Hero families as a comfort in their grief and to honor their loved ones’ sacrifice for our country.
To date, he has mailed or delivered over 3,300 pictures of soldiers killed in the War against Terrorism. Come hear from this amazing artist about his “Fallen Heroes Project” and see how you can help.
This program is funded by the Friends of the Lynnwood Library.
