See the universe clearly through astronomy

Astronomy for Everyone: Size and Scale of the Universe, a program for all ages, is scheduled for 7 p.m Thursday, Aug. 29 at the Lynnwood Library.

Astrophysicist Kevin Manning, a former consultant with NASA, has always been passionate about astronomy, and wants to share the excitement with you. During this 90-minute event, you’ll learn about the size and scale of the universe, the stars, and other celestial wonders using hands-on activities and assorted visuals.

This program is funded by the Sno-Isle Foundation and the Friends of the Lynnwood Library.

A reminder: The Lynnwood Library will be open regular hours until Sept. 5. The library will be closed for three to four weeks, starting Sept. 6. Holds pickup available only, with limited hours. No returns.
