A 45-year-old man from Lynnwood was rescued after he got stuck while trying to BASE jump at Mt. Baring near Stevens Pass. According to KING 5, he spent the night dangling in a parachute harness 5,700 feet above the base of the mountain. Rescue crews got to the scene about 6:30 a.m., lowered ropes about 200 feet down a cliff and rappelled down to his location.
