Students at Brighton School are fulfilling their commitment to be community builders and help people in their neighborhoods and around the world through a recent project.
The students supported Children of the Nations, a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing children with nutritionally balanced, ready to cook meals.
Brighton School students raided their piggy banks and raised $5,025 to purchase food for the hungry. Students then donned hair nets, and loaded dry beans and other food ingredients into a soup packaging device to construct food packets to aid orphans and destitute children. In all they packaged some 18,586 meals for hungry children in Africa and the Caribbean.
