Location confirmed for new sports bar

We knew several weeks ago that a new sports bar will be opening in Lynnwood, we just didn’t know where.

Today we confirmed that Buffalo Wild Wings will be built at the site of the former Billy McHale’s next to Red Robin.

The existing building will be torn down and a new 7,400-square-foot restaurant with a patio will be built. It’s expected to open this fall.

Buffalo Wild Wings bills itself as “a fun, edgy, high-energy and easygoing restaurant – much like the personalities of our guests.”

The menu features eighteen signature wing sauces and seasonings with flavors ranging from Sweet BBQ to Blazin’. The Minnesota-based chain is the recipient of hundreds of “Best Wings” and “Best Sports Bar” awards from across the country.

It will have some competition. Blazing Onion Burger Company just opened across the street at Alderwood Mall.

  1. I am glad to see another restaurant occupying the old Billy McHale’s location. That spot has been without a going concern for far too long.

  3. Hay isn’t that where Wayne Cody’s used to be?   That location very well could have been without a going concern since its construction.
