As we reported in March, burglaries are on the rise in the Lynnwood area. This weekend, several neighboring police departments will come together with citizens to discuss the problem.
A burglary prevention fair will be held Saturday, May 5, from 10 a.m. – 1 p.m. at Meadowdale High School.
Property crimes detectives will be available to answer questions about current burglary crime trends. You can also discuss safety concerns with crime prevention officers.
Staff at vendor tables will give advice about locks, alarms, surveillance systems and more.
This fair is sponsored by the Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office along with the Lynnwood Edmonds, and Mountlake Terrace police departments.
