Business brief: Bindi Yoga’s new floor a group effort

Clients of Lynnwood’s Bindi Yoga are enjoying a new floor on which to practice, thanks to a group effort from the studio owners, instructors and clients.

According to client Kathy Hashbarger, the old studio floor was a collage of beautiful tiles that were remnants from when Ambiante Tile occupied the space — “unique and somewhat pretty, but it was a very irregular hard surface to practice yoga on.”

A new floor suited to the practice of yoga was very expensive, “so everyone rose to the occasion,” Hashbarger said. Owners and instructors began holding “donation workshops” that included shoulder stand workshops, candlelight meditation classes and even a yoga and vino session.
