Celebrating Independence Day Posted: July 4, 2015 2265 Volunteers for the Heart of Edmonds School District marched in the Independence Day parade Saturday in Edmonds. (Photos by David Pan) Students in the Edmonds School District Summer Music Program provided entertainment. Pacific Little League Manager Robley Corsi Jr. rode a bicycle in the Independence Day parade. Players from the Pacific Little League all-stars team marched in the parade. The team won the Washington State and Northwest Regional championships and advanced to the Little League World Series last summer. The Meadowdale Dance team appeared in the parade. The Lynnwood Eagles decorated a classic car. The Lynnwood Elks had a patriotic float. The Lynnwood Community Band performed for parade watchers. Students from Soundview School marched in the parade. Edmonds Community College President Jean Hernandez marched with students and faculty. Students and staff from Edmonds Community College enjoy the parade. Members of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community wave to the crowd.
