A charter bus got high-centered as it left the Bucca Di Beppo parking lot over the weekend.
An eyewitness named AJ sent us this account:
The driveway to Bucca Di Beppo is ultra steep and many cars and trucks scrape going up and down it (with deep asphalt grooves as evidence). We have long cars and they always scrape badly using that driveway and cars/trucks with trailer hitches are guaranteed a hard scrape. The bus was actually headed south out of the parking lot. I do recall they laid down a few long blocks of wood under the rear tires to try to and adjust for the height the tires were off of the ground. Also as we left the scene, there were a few guys trying to push the bus out of the lot (yeah right). I do not know what ultimately happened, but after we were finished shopping in the complex across the street, the bus was already removed and gone. This happened on Saturday at 5:47 p.m.
That charter bus is really big, it almost occupied the whole street I wonder how many hours they take to removed it from there. – Atlanta Charter Bus https://charterbusesofatlanta.com
