City Council schedules Public Hearing on siting process for Essential Public Facilities on April 27

great dealThe City of Lynnwood is holding a Public Hearing on the siting process for Essential Public Facilities (EPF) at 7 p.m.. Monday, April 27 in the Council Chambers at City Hall, 19100 44th Ave. W., Lynnwood.

Interested citizens are invited to attend this public hearing and to provide comments, either orally or in writing. Prior to the hearing, written comments may be submitted to the contact person below. The file on this project is maintained in the Community Development Department office and is available for review during business hours at the Lynnwood Permit Center, 4114 198th St SW, Suite 7, Lynnwood.

The proposed amendment would reinforce the City’s compliance with the Washington State. Growth Management Act (GMA) and facilitate public participation and City decision-making when EPFs are proposed in Lynnwood. Draft provisions include definitions and siting processes for local EPFs and regional EPFs.
