The Lynnwood City Council will be holding a public hearing on its Moratorium on Marijuana Sales and Gardens at its Monday night meeting.
The public hearing is part of the July 29 business meeting, which is scheduled to start at 7 p.m. in the City Council chambers.
The moratorium dealt with the acceptance and filing of applications for and the licensing, establishment, location, operation, maintenance and continuation of medical cannabis collective gardens.
The public is invited to present testimony and other evidence regarding the imposition of the moratorium.
Under Initiative 502, which was passed in November 2012, small amounts of marijuana for most adults were legalized.
The City Council unanimously adopted the moratorium at its June 24 meeting. The moratorium went into effective immediately and lasts for six months.
