City Council to reopen public hearing for Whispering Pines rezone at April 22 meeting

The Lynnwood City Council at its Monday, April 22 business meeting will reopen the public hearing for the Whispering Pines apartment complex rezone project.

The council held a public hearing  on March 11, but decided at its March 25 meeting to reopen it. Councilmembers are scheduled to vote on the proposed ordinances amending the Whispering Pines complex’s comprehensive plan following the public hearing.

The council is also set to vote on a proposed ordinance that would make it as a misdemeanor to expose children to domestic violence.

The meeting will begin at 7 p.m. Monday in the council chambers, Lynnwood City Hall, 19100 44th Ave. W. You can see the complete agenda here.
