The Lynnwood Public Works Department hosts an informational meeting on the Scriber Creek flooding problem at 7 p.m., May 15 at the Lynnwood Operations and Maintenance Center at 20525 60th Ave. W. in Lynnwood.
At the meeting Mayor Don Gough and Public Works staff will update residents, owners, and business occupants about ongoing plans to address long-standing storm drainage and sewer flooding issues associated with Scriber Creek. Staff will also discuss the ongoing utility rate and capital project planning processes underway that will fund Scriber Creek storm and sewer capital projects as well as other city-wide utility projects.
Public Works is currently scheduled to discuss capital project needs in the context of utility rate revenues at a City Council Work Session at 7 p.m, on Monday May 20. at Lynnwood City Hall.
