City hosts Summer Open Houses at Heritage Park

The city hosts Summer Open Houses at Heritage Park on the first Saturdays in July, August and September.

Visitors are invited to experience life in early Alderwood Manor. The park’s historic buildings and Interurban Car No. 55 will be open for tours. Trolley tours will be scheduled every hour. The new Wickers Museum offers a glimpse into the life of the family that once lived above the old store in the 1930s with recreated historic rooms, vintage furnishings and artifacts.

Come any time between 11:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m.No reservations are necessary.

The Summer Open Houses are also hosted by the city’s partners, the Alderwood Manor Heritage Association, Sno-Isle Genealogy Society, Snohomish County Tourism Bureau, and the Car 55 Restoration Committee.
