City of Lynnwood provides update to Interurban Trail South project

The City of Lynnwood provided the above photos and below update on the Interurban Trail South project connecting missing pieces of the Interurban Trail near 212th Street Southwest:

DETOUR: Eastbound 212th Street Southwest traffic will be diverted to the 66th Avenue West to 208th Street Southwest detour when work on 63rd Avenue West intersection is occurring. Once work moves far enough East, traffic will be diverted to the 63rd Avenue West to the 208th Street Southwest detour. Local access to businesses will be provided and maintained.

Last Week, April 23-27: Crews excavated for a de-watering sump, potholed for the gas line, set up the de-watering operation and completed the storm drainage. Crews started the deep sewer installation.

This Week, April 30-May 4: Crews are continuing the deep sewer installation, which begins at the 63rd Avenue West intersection, moving east toward 61st Place West. This work is expected to continue potentially for the next three weeks until around May 18.

Next Week, May 7-11: Crews will likely be continuing the deep sewer installation.
