The Lynnwood City Council and Mayor Nicola Smith recognized the Verdant Health Commission for its BikeLink grant during Monday’s meeting. The five-year BikeLink project is a major bicycle infrastructure endeavor that will build or connect more than 10 miles of new bicycle infrastructure in the Cities of Edmonds, Lynnwood and Mountlake Terrace. Lynnwood will directly benefit from this project by gaining more than four miles of new lanes along with new wayfinding signage and bicycle storage facilities.
